Car Tyres and You is a Melbourne tyre and mechanical workshop with three stores, at Carnegie, Ormond and Keilor Park. We fit tyres and wheels for every make and model, and handle the servicing that keeps them lasting: alignment, balancing, brakes and suspension.

We have access to every major manufacturer, from budget through to premium. Stocked brands include Dunlop, Goodyear, Kumho, Yokohama, Nankang and Zetum, with 4WD and SUV options for vehicles that see gravel as well as bitumen. Tell us the vehicle and how you drive it, and we will tell you honestly which tyre suits.

Between them we cover the south-east through Caulfield, Bentleigh, Murrumbeena, Oakleigh and Moorabbin, and the north-west through Tullamarine, Niddrie, Essendon and Keilor.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Saturday, 8.30am to 12pm. Closed Sunday. Courtesy cars are available to keep you moving while we work.

Common questions

Can I get a tyre replaced the same day?

Often, yes. Same-day tyre replacement depends on stock and which store you visit, so call ahead and we will check.

Do you repair punctures, or only replace?

We repair punctures wherever it is safe and suitable, which is cheaper than replacing and gets more life out of the tyre. If a repair would not be safe, we will tell you.

Why does wheel alignment matter?

Poor alignment wears tyres unevenly, costs fuel and makes the car pull to one side. Correcting it extends tyre life and improves stability.

Do you service SUVs and light commercials?

Yes. Passenger cars, SUVs, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.
