What a session includes

Sessions come with a design consultation and a PDF preparation guide, access to a couture and designer client wardrobe, a children’s wardrobe, hand painted backdrops, custom sets and guided posing. The Petite session is listed at $380 and runs 45 minutes to an hour, includes one backdrop setup and one look for the mother and each daughter, and covers up to three children with extra children at $50 each. At least 25 images are shortlisted onto watermarked proof sheets for selection, and five chosen images receive a detailed edit in Caz’s painterly fine art style. RAW and unedited files are not supplied. A non-refundable booking fee of $100 secures the session date and covers the creative planning, with the session cost paid on the day.

Common questions

When should I book a maternity session?

The studio suggests reaching out in the second trimester as only a limited number of bookings are taken each month. For a first pregnancy 29 to 33 weeks is described as ideal, 28 to 31 weeks for later pregnancies, and 24 to 28 weeks for multiples.

When should I book a newborn session?

Seven to 14 days is described as ideal, as babies are generally sleepier and easier to pose. Newborns up to six weeks are welcome, though some poses may not be possible.

Are risky newborn poses used?

No. The studio states it does not perform complicated or potentially risky newborn poses, and works only with what the baby, parents and photographer are comfortable with.

Where is the studio?

Caringbah South NSW 2229 in the Sutherland Shire. The full address is provided at booking.

Do I receive the unedited files?

No. Proof sheets are provided for image selection and the chosen images are delivered edited. RAW and unedited files are not passed on.
