About Dr Stephen McCann

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science from UNSW and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University and is registered with AHPRA. He has practised from Eastpoint for years and sees each patient personally, from the first consultation through to the exercise and movement advice that keeps you well between visits. Care is tailored to the person: a thorough history and examination first, a clear explanation of what is going on, and then treatment that may include spinal and joint adjustment, soft tissue work, mobilisation and home exercises.

Your first visit

Allow a little longer than a standard appointment. Stephen will take a history, examine how you move, explain his findings in plain language and, where appropriate, begin treatment on the day. Do I need a referral? No. You can book directly with a chiropractor in Australia.

Can I claim on my health fund? Yes. Most extras policies cover chiropractic and rebates can be processed on the spot. Ask your fund about your annual limit.

Are Medicare plans accepted? Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans from your GP may cover up to five allied health visits a year. Bring the referral paperwork with you.

Where do I park? Eastpoint has an underground car park with lift access to Level 3. Edgecliff station and New South Head Road buses are at the door.
