Approach

Applied behaviour analysis is used to describe a behaviour objectively, then measure it from a baseline through the intervention, so the effect of the support can be seen rather than assumed. The team also draws on trauma-informed practice, the Collaborative Problem Solving model and Floortime.

Do clinicians come to us, or do we travel to you?

Most support is mobile, so a clinician can come to your home, school, pre-school, group home or local community centre. Appointments at a Kameleon location and telehealth sessions are also options.

Is Kameleon Group registered with the NDIS?

Yes. The provider ID is 4-EUG3DAH, covering specialist behaviour support, therapy and early childhood intervention. Registration applies nationally, not just in New South Wales.

Can we use a self-managed or plan-managed NDIS plan?

Yes. NDIS managed, plan managed and self managed plans are all accepted, as is private payment. A Kameleon representative can go through which plan line items apply before anything starts.

What ages do you work with?

Support covers young children through to older adults, with early childhood intervention for the youngest clients. The approach is adjusted to the person’s age and situation rather than applied as a single program.
