Common questions
What ages does Rainbow take?
The centre is for preschool aged children, three to six years. It is a single age-group service rather than a birth to school centre, so there are no babies or toddlers rooms.
Are there minimum days, and can I pick which days?
The centre recommends at least two days a week. There are no fixed days, so days are chosen on availability. If only some of your preferred days are open you can take those and stay on the waitlist for the rest.
Is lunch provided or do I pack it?
Meals are provided. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are prepared on site by the centre’s chef, so there is no need to pack food.
What will it cost beyond the daily fee?
Enrolment requires a four week bond based on your child’s attendance pattern, plus a one-off $150 administration fee for the enrolment pack. Child Care Subsidy and Start Strong fee relief both apply, so the out of pocket amount depends on your entitlement.
