About Dr Gareth Ho

Dr Ho lists a Master of Dental Science in Orthodontics from the University of Sydney, a Master of Dental Science in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a full member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, and has worked in hospitals including the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and Sydney Dental Hospital. Clinic hours

The clinic is open Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 6:30pm, Thursday from 2pm to 7pm and on alternate Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Appointments are by booking, either online or by calling (02) 9747 8699.

Common questions

At what age should my child have an orthodontic check?

Simplybraces recommends an orthodontic consultation from around age 7, or earlier if there are concerns about how the teeth or jaw are developing, such as crowding, a mouth-breathing habit or thumb sucking past age 5.

Is there a screening for young children?

The practice offers a free screening for children under 8, without X-rays or 3D scanning. Conditions apply, including a referral from a general dentist within the previous six months.
